#SkånskLofi - When Scanian Dialect Meets Lofi, Neo-Soul and Jazz

Malmö, Sweden – #SkånskLofi is the latest collaboration between the relocated jazz singer Cecilia Stalín and producer Yoël. By weaving together Scania's cultural riches with the soothing Lofi beats and soulful tones from neo-soul and jazz, the duo celebrates authenticity, diversity and the power of creativity that pervades Malmö's dynamic music scene.

After 16 years in London, it was time to land in Sweden and create roots in the Scanian crowd again, and thanks to an unexpected collaboration, a new project with the Malmö-based producer & pianist Yoël flourished. With lyrics and melody by Cecilia Stalín, as well as music and production by Yoël, their collaboration has resulted in a unique and enchanting soul-Scandinavian expression. Mixing and mastering, as well as final production, have been fine-tuned by Johan Björk to ensure a soundscape that invites the listener to explore the depths of their art.

After releasing a digital Summer Series of singles from May to August, they are now set to release their highly anticipated mini-album on September 6th. The album includes their fifth single "Livet" as well as several bonus tracks.
